Robert "Rusty" Tweed President and Chief Executive Officer Tweed Financial Services, Inc. Rusty Tweed is President, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Tweed Financial Services, Inc., an independent full-service financial and estate planning firm located in San Marino and Beverly Hills, California. He is a Certified Estate Advisor® and prominent member of the Board of Advisors of both the National Association of Financial and Estate Planners (NAFEP) and the Tenants-In-Common Association (TICA). As a specialist in wealth and retirement planning, Rusty is on the cutting edge of Advanced Tax Strategies, helping his clients with capital gains tax deferrals, real estate investments, 1031 exchanges and tenants-in-common (TICs). He also serves as a member of the TICA Ethics Committee whose mission is to promote the highest ethical standards for its members and provide education and information to the entire TIC community. In 1999, Rusty was selected Estate Planner of the Year by the National Association of Financial Planners (NAFP) and subsequently served on the professional associations Board of Advisors. He has lobbied in Congress on behalf of the Tenants-In-Common Association (TICA), gives monthly seminars for accredited investors on real estate investing, retirement planning and investment strategies, and has been quoted in the Los Angeles Times¹ and the Bloomberg Financial News wire service.² Rusty takes pride in being a third generation financial services professional. His grandfather established a successful insurance brokerage in the Toronto area now owned and operated by Rusty’s father. His great uncle founded Equitable Life Insurance Company of Canada, which today is a major multinational insurance company.
