Deferred Sales Trusts Further Expands Exeter's Fiduciary Services Business

November 1, 2008--San Diego, California--Exeter Fiduciary Services, LLC introduced its latest fiduciary services offering — the Deferred Sales Trust™ — to further expand its tax-deferred fiduciary services operations and to provide additional value added services to its 1031 tax deferred exchange clientele.

The Deferred Sales Trust, often referred to as a DST, is a contract between a taxpayer and a trust arrangement called the Deferred Sales Trust in which the taxpayer sells real or personal property to the Deferred Sales Trust in exchange for the Deferred Sales Trust’s contractual agreement to pay to the taxpayer a certain amount over a predetermined future period of time.
